Chevron's Exploration and Production activities in Europe are the responsibility of Chevron Upstream Europe. Headquartered in Aberdeen with offices in Copenhagen and Oslo, Chevron Upstream Europe's current UK production assets include Alba, Britannia, Captain, Elgin/Franklin, Erskine, Jade, and Strathspey. Further equity is held in the Norwegian sector Draugen field, and in the Danish DUC asset.

The Alba, Captain, Draugen and DUC fields produce crude oils of those names. The Britannia field is a gas/condensate field from which the condensate goes into the Forties pipeline system and is lifted as Forties crude oil. Elgin/Franklin and Erskine are also lifted as Forties. Jade is lifted as Ekofisk; and Strathspey goes into the Brent pipeline system. Caledonia, which started up in 2003, delivers its oil into the Forties pipeline system.
