Overview
Benchamas crude is produced in the Gulf of Thailand and is loaded from an FSU (Floating Storage unit), the "Benchamas Explorer". The cargo sizes range from 200 to 600 thousand barrels with a maximum ship size of 110,000 DWT. Typically, the cargoes are sold with pricing based off of APPI (Asian Petroleum Price Index) Tapis quotes. The production rate is approximately 30 thousand barrels per day.
